TikTok pays the agencies in its LIVE Creator Network programme separately, based on how their creators perform. That payment doesn't come out of your diamonds: what you earn from gifts stays yours.
That's also why a good agency wants you to grow. The better you do, the better the agency does.

Cost red flags
If an 'agency' asks for a deposit, a joining fee, your password or a share of your earnings, don't agree. A trustworthy LIVE Creator Network invites you through TikTok and doesn't ask you for money.
- You have to pay for 'promotion', 'boosts' or a place in the programme.
- They want you to send gifts or money back to them.
- They promise a fixed monthly income in return for a fee.
Some managers outside TikTok's programme do work on commission, for example for brand deals. If you agree to that, make sure it's in writing and you understand exactly what you're paying for.
